Anika Bachle, a young lady from our church, hopes to move to Ukraine in February with three of her friends. These girls have made numerous trips to the North East of Ukraine to minister to the 200 orphans in an orphanage in Pravda, near Sumy. They have developed deeper and deeper relationships with these kids, ministered to them in practical ways, shown them love, won their trust, and pointed them to Christ. They call their ministry “Open Arms”, and this is their mission statement: “Reaching out to the broken orphans of Ukraine with Open Arms by providing loving, stable support through which they can begin new lives of hope, dreams, and healing in their Heavenly Father.”

This slideshow will give you a glimpse into their ministry. Please watch it:
